Under The Water uses technology to create a synthesized environment, in order to question the a futuristic relation between life and technology. It is an immersive installation that constructed by laser waves, sonic event and artificial haze. In a ten meter long but narrow space, two speakers are set up at both beginning and end of the space, with a series of low pitches that generated by software. To project the laser waves on the ceiling, lead audience in a specific form of viewing – to looking up. Different low pitches generate the forms and movement of laser waves. Moreover, artificial haze produces subtle grey elements that blurred this digitized environment and the real space.Vision and auditory are unified. To experience this isolate environment, it allows audience’s individual imaginations and understandings.
